The only way I could describe this Halloween is "I feel like I'm 5 again!"
The excitement began Friday after handing in my biology test and receiving the first treat of the holiday- a Reese's cup. (My favorite!) Later that night, the girls of 2nd Thomas got all dressed up in our best cocktail dresses and disguised ourselves with beautiful masquerade masks. We headed to the castle for a Masquerade Ball run by Arcadia's own Black Awareness Society and danced the night away.
On Saturday, after performing a concert in Milton, PA for the PenDel Brass & Singers, I arrived on campus just in time to join everyone for the annual Haunted Castle. Another event run by an Arcadia club, the Society for Castle Restoration, was absolutely amazing. The guided tour of the castle followed the storyline of a family living in the castle and the mysterious death of their child. You could definitely tell that all of the performers worked extremely hard and were great actors. There were several screams from our group.
The grand finale was Sunday, trick- or- treat night! A few of my friends from Eastern University and Drexel University got together to relive our childhood and collect candy. Nothing is greater than a big bag of candy for a college kid. :)
